For Young Writers
Currently all regular SWS courses and workshops are for adults 18 years and older. But in 2010 we hope to add something for younger writers. Meanwhile, the following organizations might lead you to something useful.
'The Lyceum brings together families, writers, illustrators and educators to share diverse streams of thought and experience through the medium of story - oral, written and visual.'
Pandora's Collective
'...a Vancouver-based registered charity, established to promote literacy and self-expression in our community. We strive to provide a safe and inspiring environment for writers of all ages.'
Surrey Public Library's Teen Space includes links to website of interest to young writers, and posts information about its annual Writing Contest.
